From commissioning to completion

When you ask Brooke Fieldhouse Associates to work with you on a project what can you expect?

You will be working with John Fieldhouse together with the services of an administrator and architectural technician. We simply work for a fee paid by you. We never take commissions, so when you hire us you can be sure that we will always act for you and have your best interests at heart - ensuring you the very best value for money.

Most projects require a structural engineer and we have several we use on a regular basis. Larger jobs (say over £350k) will require a quantity surveyor and, depending upon how sophisticated the development is, a Services Engineer. One of our proven skills is team management and we enjoy working as lead consultant; happy to assemble teams to work on larger jobs.

All of the above are consultants who work for fees like we do. We don’t hire and pay contractors (that’s called Design and Build) – you pay the contractor direct but we will arrange a fair tender process and instruct a contractor on your behalf. Nor do we purchase from suppliers and ‘sell on’ to you (that’s called working as an Interior Decorator)

From commissioning to completion – follow the staged timeline on a typical project.

“Design is all around us, it doesn’t just ‘happen’. Some things in life are well designed and a pleasure to use or be part of. Whereas much is not and can directly affect our lives and wellbeing.”
