We work as design consultants. If we recommend other consultants, which may be required for a job, then they are paid directly by our client, not by us and we do not take commissions. The terminology surrounding building and design can be confusing. With experience of working with architects, interior designers, interior decorators and ‘design & build’ companies, here is our useful guide to the professionals:

A builder won’t decide where the loo, sink or desk will go, he’ll ask for your plans. A surveyor may produce drawings for you but you’ll need to tell him exactly where everything goes including lighting and services… Oh, and don’t forget the necessary permissions, who can help you with those? You need to think about appointing an architectural designer…
