Our Brief was to convert the unusually large roof space of a modest bungalow into an office and living area for a bachelor looking after his elderly mother.

We created an open-plan space divided by storage unit. Adding a shower room with high level storage, plus further storage under the eaves, an alcove wallbed off the living area completed the layout.

Our client now enjoys an inviting, comfortable and flexible space to call his own. A great work area and ample storage presented in an inventive and stylish way. With a budget of just under £30k (2005) a six week contract period was maintained by the clever use of timber. There were no wet trades and no days when the contractor was not able to work.
