The most difficult thing about converting the loftspace of a modest 1974 bungalow when you don't want to spoil the outside appearance of the roof with dormers is that dominant 'A' frame shape of the roof.
The second is, where to put the stairs without losing space on the floor below?
The third is, how to get a quart into a pint pot - sorry, a litre into a half-litre.

This loft overcomes/achieves all of the above - except it gets a gallon into a pint pot by keeping the whole space open plan and introducing a large island storage unit at the tallest point (3 metres)
There are further storage areas at low level where headroom runs out, and a further 6 cubic metres of storage space at high level over the 'beach hut' shower room.
