In this case, the client required an extension to her kitchen that while energy-efficient would also be built using environmentally friendly technologies: the timber-framed main structure is insulated with sheepswool, and an adjacent building has a sedum roof. As well as fulfilling her environmental demands, the scheme created a wonderful volume at a budget price!
